Fishing Time

On the 24th of July we decided to go fishing up at Mirror Lake. The boys were so excited!!! Zach and Colton have been on a big fishing kick (they had just been fishing the day before with my Dad.)

Colton was so excited to use his new fishing pole that he earned selling Scout-O-Rama tickets.

We got up to the lake and Colton caught his first fish in five minutes. He was so excited!!!!

Zachary was the first one to catch an albino fish, he also caught a fish with his bare hands!!!!

Bryson kept busy running back and forth getting everyone worms.

He was really excited when he caught his very own fish.

After a while Sawyer decided he wanted to try and get a fish. Sawyer kept "rolling" the line in and even got it tangled up pretty good. Finally Ben got a fish on the line and gave it to Sawyer. Sawyer was so excited to "turn" it in.... That is until he got the fish out of the water and saw that there actually was a fish on the end of the line! That's when he dropped the pole and ran almost ten feet away!!!

This next picture pretty much sums up Sawyers day.....

"I don't like nothing, I don't like worms, I don't like bugs and I don't like fish!!!!"

Sawyer looks tough and he acts tough....But when it comes right down to it........
He's scared of everything!!!!

All the boys had fun fishing....  

Zach and Colton both caught a fish at the same time.... In all we caught almost 20 fish!

The highlight of the trip was our new pet Jimmy. The little Chipmunk that liked almonds. I'm pretty sure he can now stop hunting food for the winter! The whole way home we had to listen to the kids argue about exactly who's pet he was.....

It was so pretty up in the mountains. It was fun enjoying the beautiful outdoors.
