More Zoo Fun

We are absolutely obsessed with seeing these darn tigers swim.... So we headed off to the Zoo again, this time we brought Jake with us. We went and watched the Tigers for a long time. They did not swim.... although, the Snow Leopard was blocking the door that they take the tigers into when they feed them, so they had to feed them in front of the public (which they normally do not do) It was really cool to see them eating.... The Mom kept growling really loud and the babies (if you can still call them that) would try and take the food from each other! It was cool and full filled Colton's tiger fix for the day!!!!
It was really fun going to the Zoo with Jake....
Some of our highlights at the Zoo this day were The Crocodile protector (apparently a little boy about 6 threw a flower in the croc's cage, and the Zoo Keeper who saw freaked out at him) The strange Zoo keeper or I should say (teenage volunteer) Who thought the bats were AWESOME!!!! The bird at the bird show (I think it was a falcon) that clipped Jake in the side of the head when it flew by..... and last but not least the the lady monkey feeder..... She was a show just on her own!!!
Bryson and Sawyer at the bird show...

A few days later we headed back to the ZOO once again to see the tigers swim!!! We woke up early threw on our clothes and were out the door (notice how Colton is wearing red) He really wants some action out of the tigers..... Maybe he needs to go to the ZOO with Uncle Mike (he can get the Tigers to act up)
We ran to the tigers and the water was drained!!!!! Seriously are we ever going to see these tigers swim????
At least the tigers came down close to the glass and were fun to watch! They were playing with the ball, pacing around and of course taking naps!!!!
We also went and saw the talking bird... Who I am starting to like more than the tigers!!!!
This time we took baby Luke with us... He was good and then fell asleep! As we were driving to the Zoo Colton asked "About how much does Luke weigh?" I told him "Not more than 20 pounds." Then Colton said "He would be about the perfect meal for a tiger!"
It looks like we will be heading up to the Zoo real soon again.... If anyone wants to join us give me a call!!!
***These Tigers have to swim for us before they leave the Zoo!!!
