We made the entire night about the kids and played games with them. Are favorite is Root"beer" Pong. This is a college game where you try and land your ping pong ball in the other persons cup, if you do then they have to drink it. We poured about a half inch of root beer and sprite in the cups. It was so fun! My favorite part is when the kids chant "Chug it, Chug it, Chug it" I think this is great parenting.... all boys will have this out of their system.... When they're in college it will seem like a child's game and they wont want to play! (That is unless it backfires on me.....)
As soon as it started getting close to midnight out came the pots and pans....
Everyone enjoyed ringing in the New Year....
Some had their own style.... of ringing in the new year!
This nice thing.... Right after 12:00 the kids were all ready for bed! No clean up and no traveling. Just a laid back comfy night!
