San Diego June 9th

My parents gave us all a Vacation to San Diego for Christmas. We have been counting down the days. Finally June 9th arrived and every one was so excited... 1o kids, 2 babies, 2 teenagers and 8 adults. A total of 24... When we got to the airport we started seeing everyone in the family. We all got seats next to each other on the plane and we were off! All the kids were really good and had a lot of fun sitting next to each other playing their D.S and coloring.

When we landed my Mom and Dad had a surprise... A limo excursion with a driver waiting to take all the grand kids to the hotel.

It's party time!!! All the kids were excited to ride in the limo!!! While Grandma and Grandpa took the kids, everyone else was off to rent their car. Everyone managed to rent a practical car (even Mike and Melissa) They were sad to unload the luggage out of their convertible, after they noticed they didn't have enough seats to fit their family!!!

When we got to the hotel we decided to all go out to lunch... It's amazing how people look at you when you have a bunch of kids!!! Really, have people in California never seen kids before??? We ate lunch at a fun place right on the board walk. After lunch we all went and hung out at the pool. The kids love playing in the hot tub.

The best part about the hotel is the free arcade. The kids love to swim in the hot tub and then run into the arcade soaking wet to play games!!!

After playing in the pool we decided to go out to dinner with Jenny and Jonathan. We followed Jonathan for a good hour while he was looking for someplace to eat. We ended up on the wrong side of the tracks and the only thing near us was a soup kitchen! We made sure all of our doors were locked and decided to go the other way. We finally ended up at a T.G.I Fridays. With 3 kids asleep! The food was really good and the company even better!!!

We had a great time on our first day of vacation!!!
